I think MBTS is a great movie! But i've always wondered if it's actualy based on true events? Can this be put in category with Saving Private Ryan, Schindlers List and other "Based on the truth" WW2 movies?

When bringing up Saving Private Ryan i know the story isent real, but i was thinking of the first 10-15min of the film.

And has anybody seen Men Behind The Sun 2\3 ? Are they worth watching?

i haven't seen it but i believe the basic premise is factual. but, the movie has been discredited in japan cause it was directed by a well known chinese nationalist. did you find it hard to watch?

No i did not. Some of the scenes was gross yes, but I've seen so much that verry little grosses me out now.
