Yeah, when we bring logic into it, my husband always gets me as well. I personally prefer the arguments where we are both completely irrational....:p
Okay, okay he's never irrational......irritating really.....;)

Does it still feel weird to say 'Husband'?:)
It took me years to get over saying 'my husband...' without feeling that little thrill go thru my body:)
Just wait until you get the opportunity to say 'my daughter' or 'my son'.
It's still gives me butterfly stomach to say those:)

What are the arguments about?

I honestly cannot remember the last argument I had with my wife. We don't really argue. We may have a heated political debate or philosophical/theological discussion, but arguing seems so silly.

Life's short. Love one another.:)

Well, since my husband's outlook is pretty much the same, we don't really argue much at all. I have to be honest and admit that the only time we do is when I am being difficult. And I can be very difficult. :( When one part of my life isn't going right, it effects every part of my life, I get irritable....so on and so on. Afterward, I always realize how ridiculous it is.

Same with me and my silly egyptian..
we don't argue..we debate and we discuss ..some of the topics are silly..
but the serious subjects we listen clearly to each others point of veiws.

Its hard to get upset over a political or philosophical debate, for one, because we agree on so much, and also, we understand one another so well and the other person's view point even when we disagree. Its weird, we're like the same person, only he is more reasonable, and less high strung. We're very similar in many, many ways.....I'm surprised we get along so well, I always heard the more like someone you are, the harder they are to live with. ;)
The only thing we have ever REALLY disagree with each other on is music. And that's not even completely, I like a lot of what he likes and vice versa.
But I am non argumentative in general, I see no reason to get upset with anyone, or insult anyone, for having a differing opinion. There is always a way to say what you have to say, make your point, and remain civil while making sure you listen to what they have to say, allowing them to make their point; no matter who you are debating.

Amen, sister

I must admit that I am difficult and enjoy needling my wife ad infinitum. It's all teasing for teasing's sake... and she gives it right back, but I couldn't call that arguing. It's just a rather spirited game that usually ends with a lot of nakedness (not necessarily voluntary) and maybe even a little discipline;)

10 years of marriage (and 2 kids) and we're still doin' it 2-3 times a week:D
