Silent Hill 4: The Room (PS2)
PS2 version of the latest in Konami's horrorfest.

Also On: Xbox

Added to the list of stock terrifying elements in Silent Hill like sirens, darkness, icky noises, and otherworldly demons: claustrophia. Silent Hill 4: The Room challenges main character Henry Townshend to escape his predicament of being trapped in his apartment, but the way out into the demonic Otherside may be worse than the alternative. New enemies, new environments, and a new first-person perspective mode await in the fourth iteration of the king of horror franchises.

It's a good game, since you loved the first 3 you'll love this one as well.

The Room has good elements (some new monsters like the ghosts, the first view etc) but it's too focused on battle. Otherwise the last part of the game a little bit weak.

I had this on xbox, I found it a confusing game until I got the hang of it. Was a great play though, you will like it!

I have only played demo's of the Silent Hill series. I was waiting for them to drop in price, but I'm slowly seeing that, that isn't going to happen.

EXTREMELY disappointed with the first person view (that I was unaware of)...and the fact that the controller configuration is completely different from the other Silent Hill games...I was really looking forward to this...

I'm sure I'll eventually give in and TRY to deal with it, to get through it...But, that's no way to think of playing a game...
