-Hey man, you're like, a traitor!....I still admit that I liked Voltron, mysterious cities of gold, Battle of the planets (G-Force) Thundercats, the turtles, and hell, I didn't even mind the smurfs. I think the only shows ppl really (and by really, I mean admittedly) grow out of is - yknow....shit like Barney....understandably so. And hey, I've seen the pokemon cartoon....there was a time when I thought it was pretty stupid, well, unleast untill I saw the other manga type cartoons other companies had drummed out at the time... How old are you by the way? I'm assuming you're in early-ish high school right? (If you first saw pokemon at 8)...I think in your case it's a matter of you and the highschool friends doing the "we're all grown up now." act. - I didn't mean that to have a go at you....this shit pretty much happens to all of us at some stage. Besides, the pokemon GAME wasn't that bad at all, (I mean it was a good entry level rpg)....the subsequent pokemon merchandising CRAZE WAS...but the kids who liked EVERY SINGLE aspect about it were just plain weird...

I'm 18, so maybe that's why. But I don't see how it matters, because there are a few people my age and even grow adults past the age of 30 that still like Pokemon.

Yeah...I've played a bit of "ruby" (I think) the one on gba...agreed, it just didn't have the "feel" of the earlier ones. I also probably liked silver most...it improved on, but didnt fuck up the first ones...

i have blue, yellow, red, and crystal versions and the pinball game. i liked it when it first started and b4 it became this big thing after that i just couldn't stand it any more. i saw the first pokemon movie but i just can't watch the show any more. btw i am 21 and i know ppl older then me that still watch pokemon and they also watch yugi oh also and those ppl r in there 30s. i don't watch pokemon any more but i used to like it.
