Almost all of Dario Argento's films have great background music. Two films which come to mind immediately are Suspiria and Creepers. Personally, I like the background score of Creepers more because it adds to the atmospheric chill of the movie, especially nearing the climax. I think most of Dario Argento's films have music as their strong point.

I keep on hearing Suspria. Is it good then? God, I sound like such a horror noob.

Personally, I think it gets too much hype...It's got pretty good atmosphere if you like ghost-type stuff, but it was just way too slow for me, it got pretty boring...However, it's definitely worth watching at least once, if for no other reason than to know what the hell everyone's talking about :)

Oh...And...Don't feel guilty about anything...You've got plenty of time to catch up with the rest of us and redeem yourself :p

Suspiria is heavy on style and not so heavy on story...it's fun and I've seen it a few times! Never owned it though. But the soundtrack is pretty cool. Pretty scary music.

I like story driven and stylish horror. I'll have to see this, I reckon.

The music for The Thing is totally effective in the film, but I have the score on CD and it is really repetitive. I would advise people to avoid buying The Thing soundtrack for this reason...
