avatars?

i know this doesn't relate to a movie but can someone tell me how to personalise my avatar please?:confused:

Go to the menu at the top of the forum and click User/CP. Then choose Edit Avatar. Then upload the image you wish to use (assuming it meets whatever file size limitations the administrators have set).

apologies for the improper protocol, this is the only section i use and didn't think it would be a problem as i assumed it would be a fairly easily answered query.
