Blind Guardian

Any Power Metal fans out there? And if so any Blind Guardian fans?

I seen them in concert and they were probably one of the best concerts I have seen. They are over powering and probably one of the greatest albums of all time was Night at the Opera. That album spoke epic!! The new album A Twist in the Myth was good as well... You can't beat the Peter Pan influence song called Fly. That was a great song as well as Another Stranger Like Me.

Probably my top five songs by them are...

1. The Bard's Song
2. The Lord of the Rings
3. Another Stranger Like Me
4. Fly
5. Precious Jerusalem

Just checked them out on myspace, not too bad.

The most amazing thing to me though, was the fact that they have 18 albums for sale!

They been around for years and been popular across the world. The concert I saw was their first American Tour. They are more popular in Europe then in America. I think them being popular in America has to do heavily with Power Metal becoming scene related. I am hoping they don't fall into the trap like Dragonforce did. I doubt it though.

If you like The Lord of the Rings they have an entire album devoted to it. I love the album a lot. It is one of those albums that really stand out in my mind. Not to mention The Lord of the Ring song that is awsome.

I like the Blind Guardian stuff I have heard. I didn't realize they'd been around for so long. I think I'll pick up some more of their stuff.

Check out a lot of their earlier work. It is great stuff and I have to say Night at the Opera will be my first choice for anyone interested in the band.
