Cube 2: Hypercube

Not as cool as the original, but still a pretty cool movie. It seemed like they made the plot more complicated than they needed to though. The acting was good, the gore was somewhat of a let-down compared to the original. The plot was very similar to the original. The ending was cool though.

Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo

Less funny than the first one (which isn't saying that much because the first one was only average to begin with), but it still has it's moments. Like all the SNL alum films, there's plenty of good cameos but the plot was pretty basic. It's okay, but nothing spectacular.

#2 best ever horror. Favorite parts are still the ventilation scene (ooh scary), and the last 20 or so minutes with the running camera and the suspense.
The ventilation....If not for that one, piss your pants scare scene, I wouldn't have liked this movie.

The Prestige 8/10

Elegant filmmaking and storytelling. Wonderful acting, costuming, sets, and themes. Christopher Nolan has not yet made a misstep as a director.

Just watched the remake of The Omen the other day. I thougth it was very well-done. I wasn't expecting it to follow the original as closely as it did and was pleasantly surprised. The effects were outstanding and quite disturbing actually, especially the decapitation scene--made all the more so because you knew all along it was coming, saw it beginning to happen . . . ewwww!

I wasn't too big of a fan of Following, but the rest of his stuff has been excellent.
