Tips for learning piano?

I've decided that I want to learn to play the piano for fun. I don't know how well my hands will cooperate (only thing I've played was the drums, my hands are more blunt instruments than precise tools, maybe more videgames ouwld help heh). Any really good books, movies, or tools to learn with?

I started learning the piano when I was five, my aunt was a music teacher and I was always at her house and was always banging around on her piano so eventually she got tired of hearing me beat the hell out of it and decided to teach me...

I haven't looked at piano books or learning material in so long I couldn't recomend anything specific, but check out your local music store and ask about there books or videos...If you know how to read music it will help you alot in the begining, best advice I can give is learn the keyboard, work on scales and chords alot....

I have a keyboard that I wasn't able to get into when I was younger. It will be tough learning at this age I'm sure as every piano player I've talked to started when they were young.

Rad. That's pretty cool. I learnt piano for a bit but never stuck with it.

Take that keyboard and start a band already.....
