Wifey is off to see a play [Beauty and the Beast...she actually asked me if I wanted to go....married 25 years...you would think she'd know me by now] so I pulled down the big screen and threw a concert on.

Undead 7/10

why is it that people say this movie is so bad? other than the edning (which did hurt the movie quite a bit) it was kick ass. plenty of gore, great special FX and endless zombie carnage. what is it about this movie that people hate so much?

Santa's Slay
7.5/10

kick ass. goldberg fucks people up. not everyones cup of tea however. this movie was also rediculously controversial. dont watch if jewish or easily offended.

I actually thought the ending (if you mean the whole twist thing that I won't spoilt) was the only highlight of the film. I disliked the characters, thought the action was trite and poorly executed, and felt that the pacing was bad. I enjoyed VERY little of that movie in fact I think I only liked the story, the zombie fish, and the sawblade on a broomhandle part. Maybe I should give it another shot but I doubt my opinion on this one will change.

Not sure. I didn't mind it for the most part. In fact, I believe I really enjoyed it all the way up til the last portion.

X-3: The Last Stand

Well, being a BIG fan of the comic books and a pretty big fan of the first two movies, I had high hopes for this. I'm pleased to say they were met, not exceeded, but met. I thought this was a pretty good take on the Dark Phoenix storyline but what I didn't like was the "Pussifying of Wolverine" that took place. In the original X-Men movie, I thought they made Wolverine too much of a softy, then in the sequel, I thought they nailed his character perfectly, but in this third installment it's like they sent him back down the road to being a wuss. Wolverine crying? Come on! You'd never see that in the comics!!! He did have his moments of being a bad ass, but like I mentioned he had his moments f being a punk ass as well. The FX were excellent in this, especially during the scenes with Juggernaut & the Golden Gate Bridge. Overall, I was highly entertained and only mildly annoyed with the mis use of characters.

B+

And as for this film supposedly being a metaphor for gay rights... I will tell you right now, it's not. And anyone that thinks it is has obviously never read the comic books because the humans fearing/hating/wanting to cure the mutants has been an ongoing storyline since the comics came out in the early 60s. If anything it was probably more of a parallel to the Civil Rights movement back then, but it is certainly not something new that Hollywood just came up with to bring attention to some homosexual agenda. It's always been a part of the X-Men story.
