Im not 100% sure, but Im pretty sure the first horror DVD I bought was a cheap little public domain boxset with:
- Teenage Zombies - Horror Express - The Blob '58 Im still very happy to have them, very cool movies (Esp. The Blob and Horror Express)

But I can tell you the first movie I ever bought, and it was MONSTER THAT CHALLENGED THE WORLD on Super-8 around 1977. 50 feet silent black and white.

I don't have much horror movies, but the first one I got was when my dad ordered it out of a DVD Club catalog. It was Fargo. I still haven't watched it.
