Thumbs up The Wailer (La Llorona)

I just rented this new straight to DVD release of "The Wailer (La Llorona)" movie from Blockbuster yesterday and saw it. I thought it was quite well done. The cover art is outstanding for this movie as far as horror titles go. It caught my attention right away and piqued my interest (and apparently a lot of other customers as well as there was a full display but only one left available for rental) because it had a really scary chick with a bad ass make-up job on the cover crying blood. The movie itself was a little low-budget but was gritty and scary and was what it needed to be. A suspenseful gory fright fest.

Hey, that's cool. Did you make it, or are you just doing the marketing?

Must be in marketing. I worked with some people from this film on another feature shortly afterwards and by the time it was done, everyone pretty much hated each other :D I'm still sifting through behind-the-scenes footage for the DVD extra and it's near impossible to find anyone going 10 seconds without badmouthing someone else LOL
