what industry matters? This is (for the most part) a fan-based horror movie board, not a Filmmaker Circle-jerk.

Personally, I probably wouldn't have jumped on you based on your initial post. But your subsequent posts make you come off as a full-of-yourself douche. "Blah blah blah, industry, blah blah blah" yeah, voting in stupid little tournaments on a message board on the internet isn't going to get us anywhere in life. Who gives a shit? It's fun nonetheless

My, my - such hostility towards fellow horror fans. I'd like to take a moment to just Hi, my name is Steve and I am part owner of Screamline Studios. If anyone who like to take a break from swearing every other word and actually learn something please read on.

If you don't want to "buy" anything from us, don't. Please just ignore our post and feel free to discuss the best weapon for killing someone or what is your favorite Halloween movie on the other postings, I like the first Halloween the best myself. But, If you use Latex for what ever artistic projects you may be working on and you wanted to possibly save some money on getting some from us, we would welcome you as a customer and treat you right.

That is all Dirtybird was trying to do, is get our name out a little and offer a service. I understand how some might insist on have a million posts before you are allowed to do so, but that isn't pratical.

I understand in this day and age we are all overwhelmed with spam. However we are not offering a porn site or low car insurance rates, that is what I consider spam. I believe our post is realted to this industry and forum. Perhaps some people on this board may be here to get a good deal and actually appreciate the post, but two people have obviously set the tone for everyone else because only their opinion matters.

On behalf of Screamline Studios, please accept our apologies for intruding on your apparently inclusive world, however also realize that no harm was intended. We are just trying to make it in the industry like everyone else. The industry we love, Horror, what we have lived ate and breathed for the last 10 years as business and way more than that as individuals.

Perhaps if some other new company in the Horror industry would post in the future to try and promote themselves, this e-mail may make some members pause before they jump down their throats and attack them.
