I have a question about myspace. My friend sent me a message today and was like"i have more friends than you", :rolleyes: My question is, why have 1000 friends and never talk to them? I only have 135, but i only talk to 4 or 5 people from here on myspace.I just don't see the point in having thousands of friends!

There isn't any point. People who have that many are dumb. I don't like having more than about 50 at most. But I'm over that number now.

If you want to add your friends up, add a bunch of bands. Then you can say you have more for a fact. haha!

Not for me.

Yeah...I see a LOT of that, which was why I had no reason to join (and considered it to be pretty stupid)...BUT...Sergio let me know that ALL of the people we know that go to our clubs is on MySpace...And, it is a LOT easier to contact everyone through MySpace, all at once, than trying to CALL everyone on the phone to try to find out who's going where, who's riding with whom, who's having a birthday party, what time everyone's going, who's going where after the club and what time, etcetera, etcetera....Sooo, that's why I'M at Myspace...

I currently have 71 people on my 'friend's list' (which sounds SOOO lame)...And ALL of them are either from the club, from local bands that have members I personally know, OR people from here at HDC

I agree with BR...

I thought it was really lame too, but I eventually gave in and signed up. So many people I had lost contact with have found me again, and it's been really great to catch up.

I try and only keep people on my "friends" list who I actually know in real life, and stay in contact on a regular basis. I don't add people just to make it look like I know a ton of people. I think it's pretty obvious to everyone when you have 5,000 friends that you're not fooling anybody ;)
