I just bought that book that is a reprint of l9 or so of the original comics and the first encounter with Sandman is sorta silly.
*********SPOLER ALERT*********** I guess you can spoil a 40 year old comic for someone. Just in case. Spidey beat SM with a vacuum cleaner? Tell me they'll do better than this with the movie. ************End sort of Spolier********************

I'm sure they will do better than that, remeber the old comics had some really "campy" storylines.
They will do something were snadman can come back b/c he's not exactly one of those villians that can be killed easily. Sandman will probably get frozen and then put in jail or something.

Are we talking about the 90's animated series or one of the earlier series, I don't remeber seeing Sandman in the 90's series, but I never saw every episode.
