That cat also looks like it might turn into a bunch of tentacles like in THE THING. You know, someone'll go over to it and poke it with a stick, wondering why it is sitting there so stiff-like and thinking that it might be a dummy of some kind, and as soon as they turn their back, the cat will turn into a bunch of pink tentacles made out of painted rubber tubing.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better, TM.
I went and picked Tweety the cat up around 4:45, got him released, and very carefully drove him back home to his alley/parking lot. He was half-sedated and seemed sleepy the whole way back, but as soon as he saw he was home, he started yowling "Wau? Mwau?" in his carrying case. His energy was definitely coming back! So I let him go, and he ran off into the shrubs and things.
