Bruce Campbell to Play Bruce Campbell
Source: Kotaku July 14, 2005 In an interview with Bruce Campbell ("Evil Dead" films, "Spider-Man" films, upcoming Sky High) at Kotaku, the actor says he'll be playing himself in an upcoming movie: And then in the Fall I'm going to start a new film for Dark Horse comics, a cool company set in Portland, they're making movies now. It's an untitled Bruce Campbell movie where I play myself. It's about a small town that is having problems with a monster and nothing's working so somebody suggests let's get the Evil Dead guy. Unfortunately, in reality I don't own a gun, I've never used a chainsaw and more die then before I got there.

Just listen to this sentence and tell me what it means. I haven't seen Evil Dead II yet? Would you get the impression that i wanted to see it? Oh, well you couldn't have been dying to see it or else you would have already gone. So in your opinion would I definitely see it? How the fuck should I know probably! Why? Because it's a brilliant film, it's so funny, and the soundtrack kicks fucking ass!

That's a pretty clever idea, I like the twist on reality with fiction... That Mr. Campbell is something special...

For some reason...This reminds me a little of Wes Craven's New Nightmare...
I'd buy it... I love Bruce Campbell
