Anything by John Carpenter, my favorites are Escape From New York, Halloween and Assault On Precinct 13.... he's done some great scores for his films.

...... I also really like the Simple Minds song in The Breakfast Club & you can't fuck with Eye Of The Tiger from Rocky.
