Question Please help me figure out what movie this is...

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and I'm hoping you can help me figure out the name of the movie I'm looking for.

I remember seeing a movie years ago that scared the crap out of me. I was almost sure that the movie was about a babysitter who was receiving threatening phone calls from an anonymous caller. The phone calls continue and the babysitter calls the police. The police trace the calls and find out that the calls are coming from inside the house. What I most remember (the part that gave me goosebumps) was that the killer was able to hide himself inside the house by blending himself into the wall. For example, he painted (I think) himself to look like a brick wall to blend in with a brick wall inside the house he was lurking around in. At the end of the movie, all you see is a shot of the brick wall...and then all of a sudden the killer opens his eyes so all you see is the creepy eyes opened real wide coming from the wall.

I asked someone if they knew what movie this was and they said it was "When A Stranger Calls" .So I rented the movie, and apparently I may have had 2 movies mixed up with each other because this wasn't the movie I was thinking of.

Can you help me figure out what movie this is??

it was a pretty limp sequal ... the wall scene was the only remotely interesting thing in it ..

Yeah, you're right. The wall scene was the only one that stuck out in my mind.

Thanks for your help though. ;)
