If all you have is paint to work with then you can't copy and paste from that page to paint because the file is too big. This is what you do:
Make your character and press the print key or icon or what ever you are comfortable with. If you don't get a page set-up for the print then go into your print properties and under basics you'll get the option to have a print set-up. From that set-up you can cut and paste to paint then crop the page to your will. for windows obviously
