Al was getting a lot of his ideas from the sixteenth century's John Dee. Dee wrote books and a whole language based around communicating with angels (Enochian) and demons (Goethic). It requires more from you than you have time to do.

Crowley's "masterpiece" was his "translations" of Dee's "keys of the apocalypse." Which, I might point out, he tried but nothing happened. Guess he wasn't so fucking great.

(By the way....those neat little symbols inside of MM's Antichrist Superstar are Enochian symbols. The progression of titles are the progression of Tarot cards from the Fool to the Hierophant.)

HOWEVER, when Crowley wasn't fucked up on whatever type of drug he was experimenting with at the moment, he did come up with some really powerful ideas about the substance and use of magic. Some of these ideas still influence practitioners today. He wasn't evil, he just didn't understand what was so great about goodness. Crowley wasn't a Satanist in the way LaVey wasn't a Satanist: They didn't see anything wrong with the notion of self serving.

Where did Haunted learn all of this happy crappy? I've been a practicing witch for a long, and one of the paths I am most familiar with is the Hermetic path. My former instructors, assholes, though they were, made me read, study, demonstrate, and occasionally write about some of this shit.

Here's where I stop getting upset and start acting concerned:
For the love of your favorite flick DO NOT attempt to call up things into your house that you are not sure what they will be. Do any of your REALLY know how to cast a circle? Do any of you KNOW what a "thoughtform is?" Do any of you KNOW what kind of shit you can emerse yourself in messing with shit like this?

i have to agree w/ haunted. u don't know what u r messing w/ so don't do it unless u know waht u r doing and i doubt some of yous do. please use common sense b4 u unlesh something in to your house tht u can't handle. i have heard what this can do to people cuz i had a friend mess w/ this stuff and it went bad cuz she didn't know waht she was doing. so please everyone use caution on this. don't treat it as joke as some ppl from waht i read r by saying it will not happen to me. b careful everyone.
