Monty Python
I can only see ShankS' avatars so many times before i have to talk about them....
Monty Python is probably the greatest export from England ever. All 3 of their movies are classics. The show was awesome. The remaining members have had full carreers since.... okay, what are the best characters and sketches? I have always thought Mr Creosote was um... unique....

And who could forget the Dead Parrot sketch.

Albatross!
If i had to pick my single most favorite character, i couldnt pick just one. It would have to be The Frenchman from The Holy Grail, and Sir Lancelot. John Cleese kicks ass :) "I'm sorry... Is he hurt?" "Is he hurt?!?! You stuck your sword through his head!"

I loved the dead parrot sketch, but i was witness to too many high school variety shows that thought they would cement their place in comedy history by recreating it again, and again, and again, and again.....
i always loved the group photo sketch where everyone is inadvertantly killed. And who can forget the Classic Spam sketch? Or the Lumberjack song :)
