2. of a human being or fetus california law considers a fetus as a life. not sure about the rest of the nation as for abortion, that would fall under 'justifiable/excuseable homicide.' i dont have the text with me, but just like in self defense or capital punishment this homicide is allowed.. so is the killing of a fetus in that sense (abortion purposes, by a licensed medical doctor)

Our laws are fucking stupid.
They are inconsistent from state to state and half of them don't make any sense.

they are inconsistent becuase each state is allowed to make thier own laws, therefore limiting federal control
of course there are the GENERAL ideas eg murder, rape bad.. its just mainly the elements and such that are diff just like how certain states have disallowed gay marriage. fit the needs of the people, i guess is one way of puttin it. im doing criminal law and so far they all make sense. of course theres a shitload of other laws and i cant speak for them.. nirvananole maybe but not me
