I holstered my piece and coverd any evidence with my large lamb's wool over coat. The smell of must and blood filled my nostrils.

There was something else that caught my eye. A legal pad lay close to the body of the dead man. I flipped through it noticing indesipherable runes and gliffs. I'd have to take it back to Service to really decipher their meanings. Besides the sun was setting over head. It was time to either climb out or try that wall.

"Give that Siannan, I'm fairly certain you don't want to get involed.

"Really? I've more about the occult than you'd ever known," snapped and jerked the memo pad out of his hand.

"I remember when we used to be on same team," he said pleasantly.

I've got work to do here so why don't you...hm....fuck off.

I put my trusty stethescope on different panels in the room. Sure enough, I still heard footseps going beyond the wall. I pushed it to no luck. There were not finger prints or hand prints, just foot prints. It was very perplexing. There must be a latch in this room, and I knew that I had to find it in a hurry. Breaking through the ceiling probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done.

The something Shawn wanted was getting away, fast. I whirled on him, "How I get behind that wall"

He shrugged and grinned like a satiated cat. "Search me," he purred. "You'd probably not be interested anyway.

Maybe I gave them a little scare.

I knew why he was visiting, I just wished he'd picked a better hour than my time before work. Leading two lives has never nor will be the easiest task in the world. One job I punch out when I'm ready, the other job has other people who punch my own timeclock permenantly.

Shawn did it, of course, solved the murder (which he committed pinning the real crime on some schmo walking his dog. After all, what's one more prostitute?

Plenty if you knew what she was carrying.
Kammie was her name, long blonde hair, bluest of blue eyes and a pair of legs that came up and made a beautiful ass of themselves. If it were'nt for the tiny scar on her left cheek from a disgruntled john years ago, she would have been perfect. Just about every cheating husband in the state knew her name too. Kammie wasnt cheap, and her list of "charitable donations" proved it. She unfortunately had a problem. Kammie was a theif, not the occasional lighter, or wristwatch type theif though, she was in it for the big money. Corporate secrets, Industrial Espionage, blueprints, pda's, you name it she took it. Deciphering the information was the hardest part for her, but if she ran into a bind she'd find some lonely nerd, break him off a piece and get what she wanted and just as quickly as she entered their lives she'd be gone.

The fact that Shawn or one of his operatives was running.

Maybe I gave them a little scare.

:COUGH: Plaster was never really a palatable treat in my opinion, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Hoisted my ass up into the ceiling and started crawling I could hear voices now, a thick dark accent. The reverberation of his vocal cords almost sounded demonic, almost as if two voices at once talking.
I crawled a little further, in an attempt to hear more. Im right over top of them now, kill who? take what? are the questions filling my head now as I listen to their conversation. I just cant make out the names. All of a sudden I hear the sounds of boards cracking....

Well, I would do that, but my literary skills have gone severly downhill since I got out of school.......I'm more of a visual artist......But should another description come along, I'll be here to illustrate it.....That was a blast to do....
