avp - read the book

saw alien v pred ,
ok film, but read the book it gives a better guide to 'whats in and not in' in the film.

think the title should be changed though to predator (3), guest starring aliens. if you haven't seen the original alien(s) or predator then you shouldn't be too confused with this one, does give a good intro about the two species.

do have a query(ies) (if you havent seen this film - avp, please turn away now)

towards the end when 'lex and scar (pred) face the queen, lex is splattered with the queens blood. lex takes off her jacket - it's set on the antarctic (-30 degrees) how come she didn't freeze?

if the film is a prequel to alien and the rest, in this episode wayland (billionaire) is a nice bloke, but in the film series his company want to capture the alien in order to get the perfect weapon(?),
how can they make a clone of wayland -'bishop' the android in aliens and alien3

and lastly me thinks a sequel for avp is almost a dead cert - the queen is dragged into the antartic water presumed dead (frozen) but at the beginning the queen is frozen anyway but thaws out, now if a passing trawler/mini-sub just happens to come across the queen and accidently thaws it out... and coincidently a passing ship with preds on board... etc , too far fetched, never!

yup,

i saw the film first then read the book, the only real difference is at the beginning, where the book begins in the jungle, then goes on to tell about what happened to th previous inhabitants of the arctic base.
