OMFGAWD! I was JUST thinking the same thing. Like, no disrespect or anything. But, unless your posts count gets you something prestigious, then it really shouldn't matter. You guys are already well-respected within the community...it's not like you are newbs now or something.

people do care and really they should, people with really high posts are like the vets of the site and deserve to have their posts. i don't care being that i only had a few but they have every right to care.

that's true for them (i was a newb anyway) but still losing 3000 and 8000 posts is a lot. i guess this site has no reward system so it probably doesn't mean as much but it shows they are dedicated to and put time into this site.
