Camera Adjustments
I heard you can get a vhs camcorder modded so you can edit on a computer. I have a vhs-c camera now and my parents said no that i could buy a camera so... yeah answer

Huh ? You can get a video capture card added to your computer to transfer your footage to you and edit there. Since you are shooting on an analog camera (VHS or VHS-C), Canopus is probably the best.

I went another direction with this. I bought a D8 camera with analog inputs and playthrough. It can be used with firewire to capture analog footage, but it is also another camera. Just a thought.
