Most Watched Horror Film

What horror movie would you say you've watched the most times?

That includes any time you sat and watched, and if you're like me, times you put the movie on for background sounds while doing the dishes or painting the dogs nails or whatever.

I'm talking about the movie you put in the VCR or DVD player more than any other.

For me it's the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I've watched that so many times it's just plain silly. From grainy, dubbed VHS copies in the eighties to my several current DVD versions, I've seen that movie more times than I could even count.

I also have a major fondness for Tarantula, Giant Gila Monster, The Wolfman (1941) and Phantasm. I would have to say those four titles, along with TCM make up my all time most watched top five.

How about you, fellow forum members? Which flicks have you watched the most?

Bless you.

Ironically mine would be 2010's Wolfman remake. I know I should hate it but. I JUST CAN'T. If need be I'll make a freaking topic for it someday but it's one of my happy films. I play it a lot when drawing cause the transformations and gore is just so damn inspiring. Not to mention I've seen it so many times at this point I can practically quote every line word for word.

A few others would be The Howling (I & IV) and Jurassic Park. Haven't watched these much in a while though cause with Netflix I try to catch up on things I need to watch before they're taken off first.

How dare you " Blah " Giant Gila Monster and Tarantula!!

I haven't seen the new Wolfman. I 'm meaning to but i haven't yet. To be honest it had dropped off my radar but Ive noticed you mentioning it here a few(hundred) times and it's back on my must see list. if I don't like it, I will blame you! I also love the Howling. The first one is in the conversation for my all time favorite Lycan flick.

Lol, nothing personal. I have my priorities though.

Only a few hundred? I need to up my game! Throw in a few WolfCop too for good measure.
It's worth at least a watch. It's not perfect, but can't help but love Benicio Del Toro's take on Lawrence Talbot. As much as I love Lon Chaney Jr he was certainly given competition. Now blame away!
Where is this conversation for most liked lycan flick that you speak of?

You know, I rarely watch movies over and over. I do sometimes have tv shows I've watched a lot playing in the background. The most I can think of is seeing things twice. Like Unnameable, From Beyond, Re-Animater, Subspecies(is that the one with the vampires underwater in a cave and has the blood stone in it? Such a good film), Pumpkinhead, Hell Raisers except the really bad one. Things like that. 80's stuff.

Some of my most watched are 80's movies. Pumpkinhead, Fright Night, Evil Dead are a few that spring to mind.

I never really thought about it. I think taking into account all the times Halloween comes on during Halloween, that's up there. Also Friday the 13th Part 6 and Night of the Living Dead 1990. Perhaps Alien as well.
