Okay, picture this for a moment. Instead of Pamela Voorhees played by Betsy Palmer, imagine putting a similar sweater on Shatner and putting a drink in his hand, a snifter of Romulan ale or somesuch serious liquor...and he does this modified speech about "Jason" and says,
"Now, Jason (drinking)...Jason, he...wasn't a very good swimmer..." (raises eyebrows in contemplation) "Jason...oh, that guy. I don't like to think about him. I'm...not even sure he was really my son, you know what I mean?" (takes another drink and swirls the Romulan ale around in the glass, gazing into it) "Jason, he was unsupervised...that lake...was out there just swallowing him up. And you counselors, you just TOTALLY...DROPPED...THE BALL!" (pulls out communicator; it chirps) "Enterprise...I want a team down here on the double, phasers set on...kill!! Do you hear me?" Scotty's voice: "I canna send a team right away...the transportarr's all tangled up with blood and guts, Captain, have ya found yarr misshapen maniac son yet?"
