Identify movie challenge . . .
Hi everyone.
I need help trying to identify a horror movie from the late 70s, or very early 80s that had a scene in it where a mutilated body, or monster was being lowered down either the inside of a lighthouse or white stairway. I've been haunted by this scene for decades (I'm 39), and it's one of my earliest memories. I have absolutely no idea what movie this was from . . . so, any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for a movie from the 70s or 80s why are you posting in the 60s and before section?
Or more importantly- why didn't you post in the questions section? I know- I'm being a jerk. I'll move this later.
