From the makers of "Inside" (aka) "À l'intérieur" comes - "Livid" (aka) "Livide"

Official IMDB page - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1727516/

Official Synopsis -

Quote:
It’s young Lucy’s first day as a trainee in-house caregiver. She visits Mrs Jessel, an old woman who lies in cerebral coma, by herself, in her large desolate house. Learning by accident that Mrs Jessel, a former dance teacher of repute, supposedly possesses a treasure somewhere in the house, Lucy and friends William and Ben decide to search the house in the hope of finding it. At night, they get into the house, which reveals itself to be increasingly peculiar. Their hunt for Mrs Jessel’s treasure leads them into a horrifying supernatural series of events that will change Lucy forever...

The Weinstein Company has the US rights to "Livid."

The film releases in France on 2nd November, 2011.

Initial reviews are pretty mixed, but I am confident this should be a good show by the duo who brought us the pretty horrifying "Inside".

Read about this in Rue Morgue, but haven't read anything else - I'm psyched about this and will definitely check it out when I get my hands on it.

I was pretty blown away by Inside and I hope that I won't be disappointed by this. Its nice to see films that can be extremely visceral while maintaining a sense of quality, because it seems like more and more people are giving up on quality for the sake of gore or gross out moments. I see some movies where it seems that the movie was a vehicle for the blood spatter and I end up pretty disappointed, because a lot of them could have told a hell of a story as well.
