It’s young Lucy’s first day as a trainee in-house caregiver. She visits Mrs Jessel, an old woman who lies in cerebral coma, by herself, in her large desolate house. The Weinstein Company has the US rights to "Livid."

The film releases in France on 2nd November, 2011.

Initial reviews are pretty mixed, but I am confident this should be a good show by the duo who brought us the pretty horrifying "Inside".

sounds pretty good. i enjoyed "Inside" i love foriegn films, so i'll be looking forward to this. thanks for sharing it.

Read about this in Rue Morgue, but haven't read anything else - I'm psyched about this and will definitely check it out when I get my hands on it.

Should be worth watching on the strength of "Inside"

I was pretty blown away by Inside and I hope that I won't be disappointed by this. Its nice to see films that can be extremely visceral while maintaining a sense of quality, because it seems like more and more people are giving up on quality for the sake of gore or gross out moments. I see some movies where it seems that the movie was a vehicle for the blood spatter and I end up pretty disappointed, because a lot of them could have told a hell of a story as well.

Looking forward to checking this out.
