Dude, I LIKED Daredevil. I'm a HUGE Frank Miller fan and was a bit scared initially, but I think Ben was all right.

I'm sure Cat in the Hat was horrible, even though I would never watch that crap in a billion years, so I hope it takes home a bunch.

Gigli was really bad, but at least it did harken back to the days of witty, dialogue-driven crime movies. It failed miserably, of course, but at least it wasn't trying to be a Wachowski movie like everything else that came out this year.

And sepeaking of the Wachowsis...damn, do those guys suck. I wanna whup their butts for single-handedly destroying action movies. Man, I HATE CGIs!!!!! And what's with all the kung fu now? NOthing puts me to sleep faster than a kung fu fight. This is America; bring back the fisticuffs, damn it!

And where was a nomination for Basic? That was pitiful. And Underworld---pitiful, a rip-off, and laughable. Even Kate Beckinsale in skin-tight leather couldn't save that one, and I'm a sucker for tough chicks with guns.

Wow, I kinda liked Basic.

I too am a big Frank Miller fan, but I didn't like Daredevil nor the Robocop sequels in which he worked on.

And Gigli was horrible.

Frank's Robo sequels were horrible.

I'm not taking up for Gigli (it was truly bad), I'm just saying that at least it was trying to look like an indie crime movie instead of The Matirx (which is a crime today in Hollywood--you must blow shit up).

Yeah, I smelled what you were cooking. I just had to throw that comment in there.

When's Frank going to do a Sin City movie? Now that would be something.

I would so LOVE to see a Sin City movie. And it has to be from the first mini-series, with big Marv shooting and hitting everything in sight. Marv is my favorite big dumb bastard of all time.

That's my favorite series as well. I wanted that figure (Marv in the chair) from a few years back but could never find it. Who would play Marv? Knowing Hollywood they'd probably get Michael Clark Duncan (sorry, had to throw a jab at Daredevil).

That Marv figurine was cool. I also saw one in Wizard a long time ago of him holding the Mike Hammer .45s across his chest. Very neat.

It would be hard casting. You probably couldn't make him as big and ugly as he was in the comic, so I don't know. I think a younger Bruce could've pulled it off (as in Last Boy Scout).

I had a friend who told me the new Wizard said Ash might be in the new FvJ. Have you heard anything about this?

How about Michael Chiklis from The Shield? He looks like a more brutish Willis anyway. Or we could go with Perlman again.

That Ash rumor keeps growing and growing, but I so don't want it to be true. Like I've said before, I don't believe anything until I read it at Bruce-Campbell.com.
