After watching The Blair Witch Project again, and seeing the approach the used on the TCM remake, I wonder how many people believed they were real. (or at least thought they could pass as real). Which was more believeable?

Blair Witch. The whole Sci-Fi channel special and the website made it feel real. The marketers of that film were goddamn geniuses.

Yea, I agree with that, TCM was really on the beginning and the end of the remake. The Blair Witch had commericials, that site and was made to look like the real thing. They had more angles.

People still come into the video store where my girlfriend works and tell me that Blair Witch is real. That's really strange because the 2nd totally destroyed the whole mythology. Does anyone know if they're still doing a Blair Witch prequel?
