I'm not saying any of this to be mean or hurt feelings. I just was you kats to understand a thing or two before you go trying to summon shit into your house/ parant's house/ roomate's house/ etc.

What the fuck? Crowley was not a Satanist. LaVey was a Satanist for the show of it....or he was just very antiChristian/ordained/organized religion.

What makes you think that Crowley really believed in the Devil? He was called "the Beast" because that's was his fucked up mamma called him that. His whole deal was to be as much again the Golden Dawn as Possible. particularly Mathers. If you don't know who The Golden Dawn is, then you don't know anything about A. Crowely. Therefore, you now have a place to begin.

Al was getting a lot of his ideas from the sixteenth century's John Dee. Dee wrote books and a whole language based around communicating with angels (Enochian) and demons (Goethic). It requires more from you than you have time to do.

Crowley's "masterpiece" was his "translations" of Dee's "keys of the apocalypse." Which, I might point out, he tried but nothing happened. Guess he wasn't so fucking great.

(By the way....those neat little symbols inside of MM's Antichrist Superstar are Enochian symbols. The progression of titles are the progression of Tarot cards from the Fool to the Hierophant.)

HOWEVER, when Crowley wasn't fucked up on whatever type of drug he was experimenting with at the moment, he did come up with some really powerful ideas about the substance and use of magic. Some of these ideas still influence practitioners today. He wasn't evil, he just didn't understand what was so great about goodness. Crowley wasn't a Satanist in the way LaVey wasn't a Satanist: They didn't see anything wrong with the notion of self serving.

Where did Haunted learn all of this happy crappy? I've been a practicing witch for a long, and one of the paths I am most familiar with is the Hermetic path. My former instructors, assholes, though they were, made me read, study, demonstrate, and occasionally write about some of this shit.

Here's where I stop getting upset and start acting concerned:
For the love of your favorite flick DO NOT attempt to call up things into your house that you are not sure what they will be. Do any of your REALLY know how to cast a circle? Do any of you KNOW what a "thoughtform is?" Do any of you KNOW what kind of shit you can emerse yourself in messing with shit like this?

Please use some common sense. I know that you have it.
