Prior to the home video era, we fans would scour the TV guide each week and hope to see King Kong or Psycho in the listings. I grew up fairly old school. Only 3 channels and my favorite shows were usually on TV and meant waiting a week for new episodes. I remember recording them on VHS to rewatch several times to curb my excitement for the next new episode during the week. Nowadays though I just let the show air and after enough episodes are released I binge watch them when I feel like it. I don't have the rabid fangirl love for shows like I used too.
