out of all my female friends (close enough to share the info) and girlfriends I've had - only 2 (friends) had implants.

maybe it's more common in the USA.

I have a friend who got them and some of her friends... and an ex who was going to. It seems to be in groups I've noticed. Seems like 3 or 4 woman who are friends all have work done, weird. Anyway, Hollywood would be included right? Just like divorce rates... they hike everything.

Must have something to do with the weather up here. Of all the girlfriends I've had, none had implants.

That said, I hardly believe there are as many women walking around with implants down south...

it might be an age thing though - maybe people today see it as just a simple little thing - like getting their hair done.

The numbers don't apply to LA either. The stat is probably supposed to read 60% of women have considered getting implants.

I thought the implant stats were kinda high, too...But I dunno, maybe if you view the entire country...And consider this, I recently watched some surgery show, and there were several young girls getting implants like they were just going to the dentist for braces or something, and that was just in middle America somewhere...It has apparently become a very common 16th or 18th birthday present, kinda fucked up, huh?...It's the same with nose jobs...It's a different time, guys...Hell, 15 years ago the SHAVING thing would have probably only been about 20%...Oh, and as for "not knowing anyone who has them"...Maybe you DO ;)...Would everyone TELL?...One of the girls at this forum who has them (and there have actually been a few girls here who said they have them), said that it's no different than getting a TATTOO:eek: ..I STRONGLY disagreed with that...But, perhaps that's the mentality about it these days...

As for the death rate...I'm sure that one pertains to mortality rates at younger ages...
