Today.... Is my Screw off day....
 

In case anyone was wondering, i have been without a job for about a week and a half now, and it has felt like a month.

I have been busy as hell, doing a shitload of housework, and was pretty sick a couple of days (at least i didnt have to miss any work ;))

aand i have been working on a sci-fi epic i started back when i was 19. I am planning on incvluding the background as part of my site, so keep your eyes peeled for links.

So, how has everyone been doing?

Oh, yeah. a newer, edited version of justice (the final one) will be posted soon. I will post an announcement, but i wiull gladly pm anyone who asks when it is done (taylorsmommy, im pming you no matter what :D)

Good to see you posting Vod. Ya figure with all this free time you would catch up to urgeok in no time.

I actually accomplish more in a day now that i am unemployed than i did in my last month of work.


Tiled the bathroom floor the past couple of days.....


I will never tile again....

You'll be creating multiple personalities to talk to in no time...

My cousin used to do tiling for a profession... he was a depressed man.

On a more serious note: On about the fifth time I read that story, I thought this would make a great movie!

I got laid off. The company i worked for (i suppose i can say the name now, it's not like they can fire me....)


Enterasys Networks Decided to "outsource" quite a bit of it, and decided that programmers in IT were unnecesarry.

so now i am living off of a nice big severance.

Were you shocked when it happened?

How did you feel about it? I mean, didn´t you hate your job anyway, or was it just your co-workers?

I hated all of it.

I was THRILLED to get canned. I have had a vacation...
