Damn...This is SOOO weird...

So, Okay...What is it?...What do YOU consider 'weird'?...The absolute STRANGEST thing that you can possibly think of...

I think weirdness is all a matter of perception, and that abnormality is determined by that which is not considered 'normal' by the predominance of the majority...HOWEVER...In my little world, WE are the majority...So...Nothing is really "weird" to us;)

I'd really like to know what you guys consider to be "weird" though......Enlighten me...

Vodstok 12-01-2004 06:14 AM

weird... Hmmm....

A manequin dressed in neon yellow, sitting on a badger that is having sex with an armadillo. The manaequin is eating a mayaonaise donut covered with shredded paper.

All of this happening at sunset during a rainstorm, in a trainstation.

Umm...Yeah...That's kinda the point...It's SUPPOSED to be weird...Looks like I succeeded, Thanks...lol

@Vodstock...That was pretty good, but a "mayonnaise donut" wouldn't be 'weird', that would just be GROSS.....And why is there ALWAYS FOOD in your stories?!....Oh yeah...Taurus...heh:D

urgeok 12-01-2004 06:24 AM

the weirdest thing to me is when someones though patterns are totally non linear..

hard to explain what i mean but i'll try.

There is a perception of normality that we all subscribe to ..
a = b, b = c, therefore c = a
thats logical linear thinking .. you just cant argue with it.

There are some people out there that just dont think like that.
I'm not talking about the ones that make a concious effort to be and act 'different' to make themselves intriguing - more interesting ..
I'm talking about the people who genuinely just dont see or think that way.

i never said this was bad .. i'm sure there are incredibly intelligent people out there that think that way .. out of the box so to speak ..

its just weird to me because i cant think that way at all ...

that really is the weirdest thing that i have experienced

Actually...I understood that 100%

And...That scares me...

I understand. i am a weird guy. i dont try to be, i dont even look like a weird guy, i just am. i have a natural, inborn hatred of people who put all of their effort into being odd. if you arent weird, accept it and move on.

Example:
If you dress up like Brandon Lee from the crow because you want people to think you are strange, you are a poser. Put the cartigan back on and take off the makeup.

If you dress up like brandon lee from the crow because it felt right, or the moon told you to, then by all means, dress up and have fun. Dont forget that YOU cant absorb bullets or jump off of buildings (safely)

LMAO...What if you 'dress up like Brandon Lee' because you HONESTLY believe that part of his spirit resides within you?...Heh....Now THAT'S weird ;)

Like this...

Well, that is a great reason to do it! No "poser"ing there. :D

ShankS 12-01-2004 07:20 AM

Alcohol free beer.

it tastes rank and people who drink it must be weird.

Like this...

just part of a spirit ?

i didnt know that there was a general belief that spirits were like oranges ...

hey ! i want the slice of his spirit that enabled him to catch and redirect knives ...
apparently bloodrayne's friend got the chunk of spirit that was brandon lee's fashion sense.

does your friend realize that the crow was a movie part and brandon was just a regular guy in real life ?

file this guy under exibit A.

LMAO...He believes there was much more to Brandon Lee as a person, than even the character he portrayed...He says that he got it from Bruce....He thinks they had some kinda power.....It seems to me that if they had so much power, they wouldn't have died at such early ages...But, Luis's theory is BECAUSE their death's were so untimely, their spirits weren't quite ready to 'leave this plane' and therefore, are still here......Yeah...My friends are a little 'different' :)

I didn't even notice them on the last page, so I was like wtf? when I read that. :D

filmmaker2 12-01-2004 08:02 AM

Oh, and, uh, by the way, ShankS and all of ya: I drink non-alcoholic beer. Because I like it! I LIKE THAT CRAP!!!!! Not because I have an aversion to alcohol: I drink regular beer too, and I like me a Guiness Stout from time to time. But nothing beats the cool happy feeling of a tasty non-alcoholic brew. It makes me happy and I am proud of this fact! Well not really.

tachii 12-01-2004 08:02 AM

i don't consider anything to be weird, i just accept it as is; althought i have met people who think that common day things are fucked up and that annoys me.

example: a companion who thinks that films like gummo are fucked up when in actuallity are just apart of the grey side of life and are therefore normal for the person who lives that existance

that is what is weird; people who just can't accept things as is
or maybe i'm just too open minded, but i really don't think such a thing exists only the variation of tolerance

Vodstok 12-01-2004 08:03 AM

You definately qualify as unintentionally weird. Congrats :D

Oh, and by Orbs, i think he meant Eyes. No too many posters here have showed off that they have large hooters.

Angelakillsluts 12-01-2004 08:04 AM

...

He was talking about the orbs in the second picture. ;)

urgeok 12-01-2004 08:05 AM

i knew that !

brother ! wreck a joke (weak as it was) why dontcha

Angelakillsluts 12-01-2004 08:07 AM

you'd have to flesh that out a bit ..
i cant see a world where everything is accepted ..
that would be either anarchy - where anything goes (but we have laws to prevent that)

or you'd just have total acceptance .. which leads to the thought that there would be no need to ever change anything for the better therefore a stagnant society.

There must be things you dont accept ... i imagine you are thinking along more specific lines than your post suggests

yeah but drinking alcohol free beer is like making love to a hole in a matress........ it feels good, but you'd enjoy it so much more if the women was present.

Theres no such thing.

I try to adhere to the philosophy of "live and let live". or "whatever floats your boat" or ..."insert cliche here" .

I'm sure some of my friends think I'm weird because I'm 46 and like horror movies and have a shelf with "movie maniacs" proudly displayed in my family room.

But I really don't give a flying fuck.

filmmaker2 12-01-2004 08:21 AM

Oooo yippee! (does victory dance)

granted i feel that certain things should chance, but who doesn't have something to bitch about. what i meant was people who right off the bat lable something as being weird rather than taking the time to understand something from the other person's point of view first. if one can understand another's reasons for being because it is all that they have ever known then in essence it is not weird. perhaps to you, but not to them. i'm just saying that i take the time to understand therefore it is not weird because i am seeing things through someone else's eyes.
