I would have left the characters off it personally. I think the red splatters on the black looks awesome...definitely a nice display :)

I've been thinking of building one myself but molding some prosthetics and severed parts coming out of the top. That's a long time in the future though.

I think it looks good especially from the front view, just the black with the red flecks and splatters. It's very attractive! Looks upscale, stylish. I want one like that too!

If you saw it on ebay, how high would you bid?

I have no intentions of selling it, but I am rather curious as to what something like that might go for. I'd market it as a '1 of a kind, custom design, hand-painted horror movie shelf'.

To everyone that wants to make a shelf similar to that (With ot without characters), have fun. :) Glad my horror movie shelf could inspire ya. :D And if you have any questions on how I did anything, just holla at yo' boy.

We'll forgive you for the Leprechaun boxset, but Myers and Voorhees don't appear to have any arms and legs.

I have lots of horror box sets. Leprechaun just happens to be in there because I've watched it in the past month. (See the Last MOvie thread for full reviews but you'll find I'm not really that big of a fan of the series.) But still... I have lots of horror most people wouldn't buy. (How many of you have Chopping Mall or Redneck Zombies?)

Regarindg Jason & MM arms and legs, that's because they are wider than the shelf is. The characters would be like 1 foot tall if I had to fit their whole body on there. That'd be lame and harder to see with a big open space around them.

WTF?

What about making some sense?

Painting my door bloody? Or is that supposed to be my door? Or what? I guess I don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Haha. Okay, now you're speakin' my language.

That'd be awesome to paint Michael Myers on my door, but I live in a townhome and I don't think our Association would go for it. (And no that's not my house, I was just extemely confused for a moment.)
