I've wished for the same thing.
I can't remember the movie now, I saw it when I was very young. All I remember is a young, wealthy man, who was reduced to nothing, and had to live on the streets. He grew older, grew a long beard and hair, but made a pact with a devil creature that allowed him to reach into his trenchcoat and pull out a handful of gold coins everytime. Then he become rich again, and married some woman, and it seems like the devil came back near the end, but that's about all I remember.
I've also wished to be made out of liquid metal, like T-1000. What fun that would be.
But on a more serious note, this thread reminds me of the Viewer Mail Family Guy episode. The one where Peter gets three wishes.
Genie: I'll grant you any three wishes you want.
Meg: I want a new hat!
Chris: I want a new hat!
Stewie: I want them to have new hats!
Meg: Now kids, these are your father's wishes. Go on, sweetie, ask for whatever you want.
Peter: Well, I've always wanted to see inside of Kelly Ripa's dressing room.
