Not enough sparkly vampires n' shit for them probably.
Hoping to check this out in the weekend if this flu doesn't get anymore on top of me. Can't wait it looks great. I dug what he did with the Hills Have Eyes remake so I'm looking foward to this one. |
That's probably it. They thought "Ooooh, 3D!" rather than actually bothering to find out what the film might be like.

Yeah, the more and more I go to see horror movies in the theater, the more I HATE horror viewers (no offense to anyone on HDC) - I find that people talk through movies and say incredibly insipid things, "UHH! THAT'S SO MESSED UP!"
Which SUCKS because I used to absolutely LOVE going to the movies... Now it's something that stresses me out if someone is talking and I can't get into it. Mark equates my going to the movies with the Road Rage of others - I take out my rage on movie audience members. Could be. Or maybe I just fucking HATE IT when people TALK DURING A MOVIE! WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT?!?!?! Also - We paid nearly $30 for our tickets (combined). On a Monday night. WHAT THE FUCK?! [/rant] |

There used to be Cheap Tuesday Nights around me, but the closer theaters don't do it anymore. |
Eh, as much as I love slashers, even I wasn't impressed with the trailer, so I'll probably avoid watching this at the cinema. Instead, I'll save my money for a good horror book.

Which SUCKS because it's a great theater - And tickets are cheap. I'd love to own it and open a pub next door - Refurbish the seats, make it 21+ (if not for all showings, at least after 9) and show anything from indie films to oldies-but-goodies. I forget you're from the area - I prefer the Landmark Theater in Waltham - it's a bit more comfortable and shows good stuff. I saw Juno there when it was out. |
I think the last movie I saw there was Benjamin Button quite a while ago, I usually just end up going to the theater in Burlington, in fact, I was there earlier tonight.:)
