Warner Bros. Pictures just released this brand new movie poster from the upcoming film “Inception” by director Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, The Prestige) and starring Leonardo DiCaprio (The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, Shutter Island), Ken Watanabe (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Elektra Luxx, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Marion Cotillard (Public Enemies, Nine), Tom Hardy (Warrior, Sucker Punch), Cillian Murphy (The Dark Knight) and Ellen Page (Whip It, Juno).

“Inception” will be in theaters everywhere on July 16, 2010.

Synopsis: A CEO-type (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal.

It was good, a damn entertaining movie, but hardly brilliant. The first hour consisted of nothing but exposition, and I didn't give a damn about any of the characters. As an artist, Nolan is a fine engineer.

I'm 100% with you on this. You could tell, having supposedly spent 10 years on this script, he wanted to make it as complex as possible but still needed to make it appeal to as wide an audience as possible, so all that exposition really sapped the depth that it could have had.
