But, seriously, without counting calories, you can still approximate an 1,800 calorie diet, which has very little weight gain risk and you'll get plenty to eat. Since it doesn't sound like you're especially into candy or fried foods it will give you the energy you need to perform.

If you ingest only 1800 calories in a day and do anything but lose weight, you are either 4 years old, or you have one of the slowest metabolisms on earth aside from a sloth.

My wife has been eating around 1800 calories, and 30 grams of fat or less since February and has lost almost 60 lbs. (she exercised a lot too, mostly walking)

Why are you drinking more water when a study just proved drinking 3-4 cups of tea a day is better for your body than water. you get all the hydration, plus antioxidants and it's good for your teeth. I don't feel like finding the link for you but ya, you're british, keep with the tea.

If you want to work on your push ups try the 100 push up challenge. It's really neat. http://hundredpushups.com/

and then just try going for a run in the morning, or the evening to get your stamina up for those god aweful shuttle runs.

I heard someone speaking of something called the ice cream diet, not sure if its valid though, and could tell you right off the bat its not a healthy way to lose weight. basically you eat an assload of preferably low fat ice cream in the morning, and then aren't hungry for the rest of the day.

Thanks for the help guys. I had a raw carrot today. It's not a first but it's very rare that I eat a whole carrot all raw. And yeh, too much water isn't all good. It dilutes the minerals.

And thanks for the link return.

Just got back from the gym. It was pretty good. I can feel it, which shows I was working hard. I'm pretty sure it'll become a regular thing.
