1. Low budget, clever angles, and some great fx ( some horrible ones LOL). An overall terrific atmosphere. The others can't hold a candle to it in that regard.

enjoy all three, but prefer the first.

I like them all.
The first one serves up the scare. The second adds some romance and comedy. The third...oh well, it was fun! Bruce Campbell is just one of a kind. He's priceless. The scene with his hand-gone-evildead was absolutely hilarious...the look of triumph and pain on his face when he cuts it off! |

The first is the best, then 3 and 2.
The first was meant to be black comedy, but eveyone ignored the humor. With number 2 the humor was more in your face so no one could ban it. Number 3 was a good balance of the other movies, the theatrical cut was better. |
