What would you say is the most popular genre/era of horror around these parts?

We have a diverse group of people here, can't really say there's any one particular genre or era that's the most popular.

I'm partial to the old Hammer Studios (of course) movies with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. I don't care for what I call "slice-n-dice". I'd rather see monsters/creatures/spooks, etc.
