Some were cheap & some were expensive. I'm always digging so I trade/sell a lot stuff I turn up. You can do pretty well once you know what sort of stuff to look out for. All the best shit turns up at op shops you've just gotta time it right.

Yeah, dude. It's amazing. I can and have spent hours at a time there. They do jazz, blues, gospel, country, big band, soul, R&B, etc.; they also have a whole wall of 78s for sale. It's crazy.
Here's the website for the place: http://www.jazzmart.com/

The National - Trouble Will Find Me.
Really enjoying this album,I've had it on repeat for the last few days and it's a belter. This band had somehow passed me by until now,I'm going to have to listen to some of their back catalogue.
Love The National-I highly recommend you listen to "High Violet" and "Boxer" great stuff.

Nice choice that's one of my all time favorite albums.
Easily my favorite record from his solo work. I actually prefer it to some of his stuff with The 13th Floor Elevators. The CD reissue comes with this really fascinating booklet. There's also a really interesting documentary about him you might want to check out (if you haven't already) called You're Gonna Miss Me named after the The 13th Floor Elevators song.

Yeah it's the most consistently good album out of his solo stuff. I love the Elevators but listen to the Evil One more. Will have to check out the new Light in the Attic reissues. I've got the LP Sympathy For The Record Industry put out a few years back. Enjoyed that documentary although it's quite sad seeing how he deteriorated.

LIVE AT HULL 1970-The Who. Recorded the night after the fantastic LIVE AT LEEDS. Really liking it, but will need a few spins to appreciate the subtle differances. However, found live Who from TOMMY-mid 70's usually about as good as you could get.

Silent Horror debut CD. Featuring Argyle Goolsby from Blitzkid and Doyle. This CD could easily fit in the Misfits - American Psycho era. With a first attempt this good, following up will not be easy.
Just purchased a shit ton of music on iTunes. Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, Foo Fighters, Linkin' Park and Aerosmith just to name a few. Probably over ten albums I bought.

Bad Brains- I Against I
Well... It definitely isn't the self titled, that's for sure.
I Against I is a great album. Those guys have influenced so many other musicians over the years and from what I understand --- they were accomplished jazz musicians. HR played Gilman in Berkeley awhile back ago,but we were unable to make it out to see them.

I just got a demo cassette and 7" from a Washington state band called " Bricklayer"......hard as hell Oi-Core. I also grabbed the first 7" from an Oi band called " Live By The Sword". They have the singer for StrongArm & The Bullies handling their vocal chores and some members of Razorblade.

BALLROOM BLITZ: LIVE IN BERLIN 1976-Sweet. A little rough in parts, but really good live disc by in my opinion, the best of the British Glam rockers. Andy Scott and the late Mick Tucker are amazing here. On the tour for GIVE US A WINK.
