i know this one would win.
we take it for granted now - but i dont know of any other comedy that is as funny as this one - so consistantly.

funny thing is that they were both made at roughly the same time, both were period pieces, both had the director/s acting in the film, and they both had the same kind of ending (shattering the 4th wall)
