I have to agree with Jenna. As much as I love The Truman Show and Liar, Liar...Ace Ventura has been Carrey's most annoying characterisation on-screen.

This question wasnt asked in Round 1 when the Apocalypse trilogy beat the Scarecrow trilogy...but maybe it skipped everyone's mind then...

Anyway, to clear it up, if any of you possess the Director's commentary/interview disks of any/all 3 of the movies, you ll notice that John Carpenter mentions these 3 movies as a part of his official Apocalypse trilogy...sort of thematic trilogy which is a collective set of work. There are no recurring characters or official ties between the 3 movies, other than that all 3 movies share many of the same elements in their respective 3 endings.

Same goes for the Revenge/Vengeance trilogy, as Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy & Lady Vengeance run on the same parallel story-lines to be included together as a official group of collective work by the director, Park Chan Wook.

While the first Naked Gun was genius, it got a little tired by the third. All three of the BTTF movies are great IMO [ Always had a fondness for "time travel" movies]

Was my fault, newb bro. I should ve left a msg or PM before I left, but it was all so quick...totally unexpected...he was recovering from a bypass he had back in Jan, regaining lost health and doing exceptionally good...and all of a sudden, the phone call from his nurse out of nowhere saying he passed away in his sleep the previous night...

I was at work, so I had to hurriedly arrange plane tickets...called home, picked up wife and Mom...everything was in a whirl...

R.I.P. Granpa. I have had some very fond memories of him since my childhood...he ll always be in the most special corner of my heart...and I ll always miss him...

If i remember correctly it's about a bigfoot type creature that lurked in the swamps somewhere here in the states, a very low-budget flick. Anyhow my vote goes for the evil dead series.

Actually, the Boggy Creek trio are docu-dramas depicting the Sasquatch-like monster who was believed to inhabit the Boggy Creek area in Arkansas. The third part was shown in Mystery Science Theater 3000. The trio is said to have influenced the filming style of the Blair Witch movie. I havent seen any of em yet myself, though I am planning to.



The Evil Dead trilogy grind the Beast of Boggy Creek to a pulp 15-0 in a huge shutout win!!
