- A minor character in this movie was a major character in the original Star Wars trilogy.
-After experimenting with a scene for 4 days, the director had the star improvise some dancing, while singing. The director was so amused he bought the rights to the song (a song chosen by the actor cuz its the only one he knew the words to) for $10,000.
- Though a very violent movie, there is only 1 death

OK, a torture scene for ths movie was shortened after preview audiences were taken sick.
The lead actor lost 15 lbs for his role.
The director had a "dream cast" of 3 people, which included Julie Christie and Al Pacino. He only got the 3rd person, who was then nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
Good Luck! :)
